Our Church, Hosanna Assembly of God traces back to an interesting history. Having its inception in the early 1980s, the Church never found its way to its form today until 1994. Thanks to Rev. I. Asir, the Presbyter of Pondicherry Assembly of God Churches, for having the vision and burden to plant this AG church in the North-east part of the town – Muthialpet, Pondicherry. He started this church in a rented house on a Christmas Eve. The church grew steadily by the Lord’s grace and through the prayers of many saints to what it is today. The land where the church is today was purchased in 1998.

Rev. Allen Prosper was appointed as the Pastor of the Church on 11 July 1999. Under his leadership, the church today was built on want of more space. The Church moved to this campus on 21 February 2001. Amidst challenges and troubles, the Lord blessed the Church and more people were added to the congregation.

The neighboring land was purchased in 2009 and the present multistoried facility was built from 2010-2014.
